I could have sworn there was already a generic youtube thread somewhere on this forum, but I can't seem to find it. So I am renaming/hijacking this former William Shatner thread.

Recently ran across this Stan Freberg/Ray Bradbury TV ad that takes place in the far future of 2001. By this time, we should all be eating SunSweet prunes and traveling in pneumatic tubes:

Well, I don't know about pneumatic tubes, but in my city public transportation does suck.

Wonder if this was an inspiration for Futurama?

I didn't know these movies were remakes. Pfftt, shows what I know.

Forrest Gump (1949)

The Empire Strikes Back (1950)

Raiders of the Lost Ark (1951)

The Avengers (1952)

Ghost Busters (1954)

The original cut of Gone with the Wind was well different than it's theatrical release.

Gone with the Wind with Vampires (1939)

Premise: What if the 70's era had its own "Destroy All Monsters" or "Final Wars" before Toho pulled the plug? I tried to use as much cut/alternate footage as I could. My hat goes off to whomever can spot everything. Edited & Designed by Scott Lister, July 2010.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. The guy is pretty talented. I found this fan trailer more enjoyable than Godzilla ugh 1998.
